Merit

Merit is a digital credentialing and licensing platform used by government agencies, associations, and enterprises to issue, manage, and verify credentials at scale. As VP of Design, I led a team of three designers and partnered closely with Go-to-Market, Product, and Engineering to deliver cohesive design solutions across the full product surface.

The role spanned strategic design leadership and hands-on craft — from building out the design system and establishing design processes, to defining product vision and driving cross-functional alignment. Over five years, I helped grow the product from an early-stage platform into a mature, enterprise-grade solution trusted by organizations across the US.
